This is the last photo of my lil' sister Colleen - taken while she was in medical rehab, her feet resting on my boots because she was so small her feet didn't touch the floor while in her wheelchair.
She went home today to be with our Lord Jesus and His/our blessed mother.
I can say she is assuredly in heaven now because her Downs did not allow her to ever commit a mortal sin.
A wonderful priest came to her room in hospice last week and baptized her and gave her the Apostolic blessing (last rites).
She no longer has Downs or Diabetes or the dementia that attacks people with Downs early, she is now my sister the Saint, who I hope forgives me for not being a better brother and who prays for me now.
