Faithful readers, I have been staying away from my PC, as it is located by the window, which has a bit of a draft, and it is bloody cold here in DC (the outside temp sadly matching that of the average personality here in politics-land).
Again I say "burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"
Also been doing some house hunting up in Bawlmer, although with the decreasing temps and increasing Real Estate costs, it may be time to re-think a move to Texas or Cali. Anyone who has ever house hunted knows how stressful a time it can be, so any and all prayers are very welcome.......cash (though less valuable) would be o.k. too (O:
WWMM thought for the day:
Going to church doesn't make you a Christian
Not going to church doesn't make you a Christian for long
The man who will and can go to our Lord in all freedom...
must be such that his love for the Sacrament and for our Lord
grows more and more by this [Holy Communion], and that the
reverence is not diminished by frequently approaching it. For
often what is one man's life may be another's death. Therefore
you should observe yourself, whether your love for God is
growing and your reverence is not destroyed. Then, the more
frequently you go to the Sacrament, the better you will
become, and the better and more profitable it will be. And
therefore be not turned away from your God by words and
sermons.... Meister Eckhart (1260?-1327?)
