Blessed if you do, Blessed if you don't

One of things that struck me as odd about the whole "was Mother Teresa a hypocrite for serving during her periods of doubt?" which the media is perpetuating so as to deflect awareness from the fact most in the media are talentless buffoons working for "the man" they supposedly despise, is that if she was always in love with her faith and constantly full of happy, happy, joy, joy . . . .than they would instead be writing that she only served God, and his people, for the feeling, or "buzz", of faith.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would
not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for
their sin. He who hates me hates my Father as well. If I had
not done among them what no one else did, they would not be
guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet
they have hated both me and my Father. But this is to fulfill
what is written in their Law:
'They hated me without reason.'
John 15:22-25

Remembering that she was in fact human is important, just as remembering that our Lord was fully man is important, but in both cases that should serve to give us hope in the knowledge and confidence, that all of us can be better than we are now (even silly over paid Newsweek writers, or wacky notso wannabe monks), when we call on the heart of God to illuminate our paths.
