“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy" How did Christ love the church? yep, He didn't bring us chocolates and roses, didn't max out his credit card on jewelry, He didn't even send us a card . . . nope, He just layed down His own desires, His own comforts . . .His own life, so that we would know how to truly love, and truly know that we are loved.
